Bicyclist Hit By Vehicle On Busy Pittsburgh Highway Dies
A bicyclist crossing a Pittsburgh highway early Thursday has died from his injuries.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The bicyclist struck by a vehicle on William Flynn Highway in Shaler Township early Thursday has died, according to Allegheny County police.
At 4:50 a.m., county 911 was notified of the collision near a GetGo in the 1700 block of the highway. The bicyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has yet to release the victim's name.

Police said the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.
