Big Change In Pittsburgh Weather On Way

PITTSBURGH, PA — It's been a relatively mild fall thus far in and around Pittsburgh, but that's about to noticeably change. In a few days, it's going to feel like mid-January in the region.
Temperatures were in the 50s Monday, but with the passage of a front this morning temperatures are now holding steady in the mid-40s. That's also the expected high on Wednesday.
Thanksgiving will be the last relatively mild day for the foreseeable future. The National Weather Service forecast calls for showers and a high around 40.

Colder air moves in on Friday, with a high of 36 and a chance of snow showers. Saturday, Sunday and Monday all will bring a chance of snow showers and highs of only around 30.
The weather service is not predicting any significant snow accumulations at this time, but the cold air is expected to stay in place well into next week.
