'Credible Threat' Made Against Pittsburgh-Area School
In-person classes were cancelled in a Pittsburgh-area school district Monday because of the threat.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Students in the Chartiers Valley School District will learn remotely Monday while police investigate what the district termed a credible threat against one of its schools.
"Working with local law enforcement, we have learned about a credible threat against a Chartiers Valley school," a post on the district Facebook page stated.
"Out of an abundance of caution, all Chartiers Valley Schools will be remote on Monday. That means all students and staff will be home and should check Google Classroom for more instructions. Students should log into Infinite Campus before 11 a.m. for attendance purposes."

The nature of the threat and the specific school it was made against was not disclosed.
The district include students from Bridgeville, Heidelberg, Collier and Scott.
