Deadly Shooting Occurs On Pittsburgh South Side Street

A man died Sunday night after being shot on a street in an increasingly violent South Side.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A man was shot to death Sunday night on the busiest street in Pittsburgh's South Side.

At approximately 10:09 p.m., Pittsburgh police responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of East Carson Street, where they found a 33-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to the neck. They immediately initiated first aid measures.

Pittsburgh EMS took the man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:27 p.m.
