Downtown Pittsburgh Watch Party To Occur For Steelers Ireland Game

Sixth Street in Downtown Pittsburgh should be mayhem on Sunday morning as fans watch the Steelers take on the Minnesota Vikings.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Fun and festivities are planned Downtown Sunday morning as the Steelers take on the Minnesota Vikings in the first-ever NFL game to be played in Ireland.

The Black & Gold Dublin Watch party on Sixth Street will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The free event will feature a giant screen in which revelers can watch the game, which begins at 9:30 a.m. Pittsburgh time.

  • Live music and entertainment from The Low Kings (7:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. and after the game)
  • Game-day specials from Sixth Street merchants such as Irish breakfast specials, promotions, and themed food and drinks.

Steelers fans and local sports writers already have begun flocking to Dublin and will be able to have yinzer food if they desire. Pittsburgh-based Primanti Bros. will offer its typical fare from a pop-up restaurant at the nearby Croke Park Hotel.
