Fast Food Chain Expanding Pittsburgh-Area Presence

PITTSBURGH, PA — Raising Cane's, a rapidly expanding restaurant chain with three Pittsburgh locations, is debuting another one in Western Pennsylvania on Thursday. It will be one of more than 100 across several new markets in 2025.

The restaurant will be located on Oakland Avenue in Indiana.

In addition to various chicken finger meal combos, the restaurant menu also features chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Cane's sauce, Texas toast and coleslaw.

Raising Cane's debuted in the Pittsburgh market in 2023. It has locations on the University of Pittsburgh campus in Oakland, in North Versailles and in Pleasant Hills.

To celebrate the opening, the chain is offering the following:

  • Customer No. 1 in line receives what is being labeled as a "one of a kind" gift basket.
  • A drawing to award 20 Customers (age 13 and older) free Cane’s for a year! Entries are accepted from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., with the drawing held shortly after. Customers must be present to win.
  • The first 100 dine-in combos purchased will receive a commemorative hat and a free box combo card valid on a future visit.
  • A check presentation ceremony to Four Footed Friends, a local no-kill animal shelter at approximately 9:40 a.m. In honor of the brand’s namesake, a yellow lab named Cane, Raising Cane’s is proud to support pet welfare organizations such as Four Footed Friends who will have adoptable dogs at the grand opening.
  • Performances by the Indiana High School band and dance squad.
