Fatal Incident Occurs On Pittsburgh Highway

PITTSBURGH, PA — A man was found dead on a Pittsburgh highway Tuesday night might have fallen in the road.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety officials, police responded to Route 28 near the Chestnut Street exit. They found a man on the scene who was immediately pronounced dead.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has yet to identify the victim.

It's unclear what triggered the incident, which remains under investigation by the city police collision investigation unit.
