Final Days For Well-Known Pittsburgh Restaurant

PITTSBURGH, PA — LeVia Trattoria, a Lawrenceville restaurant known for its exceptional Italian cuisine, will close before the end of the month.

The impending closure on Sept. 28 was announced on the Butler Street restaurant's Facebook page. The shutdown is occurring two months before the eatery's lease expires and the owners have decided not to renew it.

"We started this small family venture almost four years ago in the middle of the Covid pandemic," the social media post stated.

"With a small staff and a lot of hard work, we were able to maintain, grow and survive through a difficult time in the food service industry. We never wavered in our commitment to provide our customers with the highest quality food and excellent service and we are proud of what we were able to achieve.

"As the month moves on and we wind down to the end, our menu will refresh but with an emphasis on customer favorites."
