Funeral Services Set For 3 Slain PA Police Officers
Funeral services were announced Monday for the trio of law enforcement officers in Pennsylvania gunned down in an ambush last week.

YORK COUNTY, PA — Funeral services to honor the three Northern York County Regional Police Department detectives slain last week will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, the Pennsylvania State Police has announced.
The service will be held at Living Word Community Church in York Township. It will be closed to the public, but a live stream will be available at this website.
Burials will be private and limited to family and designated attendees.

The three detectives - Cody Becker, Mark Baker and Isaiah Emenheiser — were killed on Sept. 17 while attempting to serve a warrant in North Codorus Township.
They were shot to death in an ambush by Matthew James Ruth, 24, who died in a bullet-ridden battle with police.

The officers were on a domestic investigation, Pennsylvania State Police Col. Christopher Paris said.
York County Sheriff's Deputy David Godfrey also exchanged gunfire with the suspect and suffered critical injuries. He is recovering and is in satisfactory condition, according to the York County Office of Emergency Management.
The York County Sheriff's Office has issued the following statement on Godfrey:
"The York County Sheriff’s Office is deeply moved by the outpouring of support from our community and across the commonwealth. We also stand in solidarity with the Northern York County Regional Police Department who have also been affected by this tragedy. We thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers during this difficult time."
