Giant Eagle is offering a significant discount on most products for day.

PITTSBURGH, PA - In response to Tuesday’s severe storms, Giant Eagle will offer a 15 percent discount on most purchases made in its Pittsburgh-area supermarkets on Sunday.
Giant Eagle announced Thursday that all Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington, Westmoreland, Greene, and Indiana County Giant Eagle and Market District locations will offer the discount.
Customers on May 4 will either be given a coupon when they enter their store or when they get to a checkout.

Shoppers who pick up curbside or receive home deliveries on Sunday will automatically get a discount.
Some items are excluded from the deal, including alcohol, fuel, tobacco, cigarettes, gift cards, prescriptions, any other items prohibited by law and all third-party transactions including DoorDash, Uber Eats and Instacart.
“As the Pittsburgh community continues to recover from Tuesday evening’s severe weather, our teams are working diligently to support our neighbors in need,” said Giant Eagle CEO Bill Artman. “We know that Pittsburgh is counting on us to help families restock their refrigerators and pantries, particularly when so many face the reality of unplanned – and unbudgeted – additional grocery store trips in light of widespread power outages."
