Health Department Orders Pittsburgh Eatery Shut Down
The Allegheny County Health Department has closed a popular Pittsburgh dining hall. Patch provides the details.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered the closure of Chace's Dining Hall, on East Carson Street in Pittsburgh's South Side, for multiple health care violations.
An inspector recently found that the eatery lacks a three-bowl sink to wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes and utensils. No sanitizer was present at the eatery.
The food hall also was found to be operating without a valid food safety permit. It didn't submit plans prior to opening and failed to obtain a required inspection from the health department's plumbing program.
