Injured Elderly Man Rescued In Pittsburgh Park

The hunt was on Monday for an 85-year-old man who was injured in a Pittsburgh park. Get the details here.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Pittsburgh EMS and park ranger personnel on Monday successfully rescued an 85-year-old man who had fallen on one of the trails in Frick Park.

Crews located the patient about a quarter of a mile into the park along the Clayton Hill trail with a hip injury. The patient's injuries were treated on site before he was moved via all-terrain vehicle to the EMS Medic Unit at the Frick Park Nature Center off Beechwood Drive.

The patient was then transported to the hospital in stable condition.
