Kennywood Cancels 2020 Fall Festival, Phantom Fright Nights
The West Mifflin amusement park will not have Fall Festival, Phantom Fright Nights or Happy Hauntings this year.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The coronavirus outbreak has forced Kennywood to cancel its top end-of-season attractions this year: Fall Fantasy, Phantom Fright Nights and Happy Hauntings. The West Mifflin amusement park also announced on Tuesday that it is postponing the Jack Rabbit's centennial celebration until next year.
On the bright side, Kennywood, which will open for the season on July 11, will extend its season this year. The park will be open for summer-style operations on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Oct. 2 until Nov. 1.
Several other special events, including the Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival and Holiday Lights, remain on the calendar for now.
