Kennywood Saying Sayonara To Summer With Drone Shows
Kennywood will hold two drone shows as the amusement park's summer season winds down.

WEST MIFFLIN, PA — Kennywood is preparing for the end of its summer season by staging two all-new drone shows Aug. 24 and 25.
The aerial light show extravaganzas will illuminate the night sky above the lagoon at 9:30 p.m. both nights, with the amusement park extending its operating hours until 10 p.m. Park officials promise intricately choreographed light patterns and vibrant hues that create designs celebrating the park and the Steel City.
“Pittsburgh showed us they loved our first-ever drone show, so we decided to round out the summer season with two additional shows,” Kennywood General Manager, Rick Spicuzza said in a statement. “The newly added drone shows will be even better this month, with brand-new radiant light motifs for an exceptional immersive visual experience.”
