Kraft Heinz, Aliquippa Breaking Ground On New Athletic Center

BEAVER COUNTY, PA — Last year, Kraft Heinz and the Aliquippa School District announced a partnership that resulted in the renaming of the stadium as Heinz Field - the former moniker of Acrisure Stadium on Pittsburgh's North Shore.

On Friday, the partnership between the corporation and school district is solidifying as ground is being broken on the new Aliquippa Athletic and Academic Center next to Heinz Field. Kraft Heinz last year announced a $1.3 million charitable donation to construct the center.

According to Kraft Heinz, it will include offices, an indoor training facility, a locker room, a weight room, and a large group maker space to be used by students, athletes and community members.

Construction will begin in the spring with completion targeted for the end of 2025.

The groundbreaking ceremony is taking place at the 2nd Annual Heinz Field Tailgate and will include representatives from Kraft Heinz and the school district.
