Major Pittsburgh Road To Close
A major Pittsburgh artery is about to be shut down for days. Get the details here.

PITTSBURGH, PA — P.J. McCardle Roadway, which links Mt. Washington to the Liberty Bridge and the South Side will close to traffic Wednesday at 5 a.m. The closure will end at or before 7 p.m. Sunday.
The closure will allow a contractor to remove materials and debris that may slide or become problematic from the Mt. Washington hillside.
During the closure, two outbound and two inbound lanes will be maintained on the Liberty Bridge.

Motorists traveling southbound from the city (outbound across the Liberty Bridge) and traffic from the East (Southside) can reach Mt. Washington via Saw Mill Run Boulevard and Boggs Avenue.
Northbound West Liberty Avenue traffic from the South Hills will also can use the Saw Mill Run Boulevard-to-Boggs Avenue detour.
