Man Facing 610 Child Sex Abuse Charges: PA State Police

BUTLER, PA — Pennsylvania State Police in Butler have filed 610 criminal charges against a man for allegedly assaulting a child over a nine-year period.

According to a police report, a 21-year-old woman contacted state police last month to report sexual abuse that occurred from when she was 8 to 17 years old at a Slippery Rock residence. Police identified the suspect as Harold Stahlman, 43.

Stahlman has been charged with 203 counts each of indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors. He's also charged with one count of invasion of privacy.

Stahlman was arrested on Jan. 2 at his home in Greenville, TN. He is being held in a Tennessee jail awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
