Man Gunned Down In Pittsburgh-Area Community

PITTSBURGH, PA — A man was shot to death in a vehicle in Wilkinsburg Tuesday, authorities said.

The Allegheny County Police Department's Homicide Unit responded to a request for assistance to a report of a dead man inside a vehicle in the 1600 block of Penn Avenue. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has not released the name of the victim.

Detectives are investigating. Preliminary information shows the man was shot multiple times inside the vehicle.
