Man Shot Multiple Times In Pittsburgh Neighborhood

PITTSBURGH, PA — Police are investigating an early morning shooting Friday in North Point Breeze.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., police responded to the 400 block of Jonathan Court for reports of shots fired. Arriving officers located a man in a residence with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. He was taken to the hospital, where he immediately went into surgery and is in critical condition.
Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said the initial investigation indicates the situation began as a domestic altercation.

A man was taken to police headquarters for questioning, but police did not indicate Friday morning if charges have been filed. They said, however, that there is no ongoing risk to the public.
The Mobile Crime Unit was called to process evidence at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
