Man Stabbed In Downtown Pittsburgh

A stabbing occurred in broad daylight in Downtown Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A man was hospitalized Wednesday after being stabbed in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said that at around 1 p.m., police responded to a reported stabbing at the intersection of Market Street and Fort Pitt Boulevard. A witness told them that two men got into a dispute and during the altercation, one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed the other one in the forearm.

EMS took the victim to the hospital in stable condition. The suspect, who has not yet been identified, suffered a facial abrasion during the dispute and also was taken to the hospital before being taken into custody.
