Here is the latest on the incredible fire that destroyed a Pittsburgh apartment building last week.

PITTSBURGH, PA —Authorities have determined the cause of the fire that left dozens homeless last week in Squirrel Hill.
The Sept. 9 four-alarm fire at the Jefferson Apartments on Forward Avenue was deemed electrical and accidental in nature. It began in a basement utility room.
No one was injured in the blaze, but none of the residents will be returning. The building has been condemned and is in the process of being demolished.

Because Forward Avenue is a heavily traveled street, demolition efforts will occur only during the evening. Debris will be hauled away during the day.
