Forbes has released its annual list of the wealthiest people in America. Who do you thin are the richest people in Western PA?
PITTSBURGH, PA — Four Western Pennsylvanians are among the 400 richest people in the U.S. who are worth a record $6.6 trillion after getting $1.2 trillion richer over the past year amid surging stock
markets and AI mania.
Forbes has published its annual list of the richest people in the country. The wealthiest among them, of course, should be no surprise: Elon Musk, who has a net worth of $423 billion. He does not have to worry about the rising cost of stamps.

According to Forbes, here are the wealthiest people in the Western Pennsylvania area:
Thomas Hagen: 219th ranked. Net worth of $6.4 billion.

Hagen is chairman of Erie Indemnity and has been a part of the company for more than 50 years, including three years as CEO from 1990 to 1993.
Edward Stack: 280th ranked. Net worth of $5.6 billion.
Stack is the executive chairman and largest individual shareholder of Dick's Sporting Goods. He became CEO in 2002 and stepped down in 2021. Dick's Sporting Goods now generates more than $13 billion in annual sales and just completed the acquisition of international shoe wear company Foot Locker.
Thomas Tull: 290th ranked. Net worth of $5.3 billion.
The former film financier and founder of production company Legendary Entertainment, Tull's biggest hits came from backing movies such as the Batman "Dark Knight" trilogy, “The Hangover,” and other blockbusters. He also is a minority owner of the Steelers.
Maggie Hardy: 347th ranked. Net worth of $4.3 billion.
She is the CEO of 84 Lumber, a building materials supplier founded in 1956 in the Pennsylvania town of Eighty Four. The company operates more than 300 stores in 35 states and produces more than $6 billion in sales.
