Father, Son Found Dead After Pittsburgh-Area SWAT Situation: Police

PITTSBURGH, PA — A father and son are dead after a SWAT situation in Pleasant Hills early Monday.

First responders were notified at 7:21 a.m. of a shooting in the 400 block of Nantucket Drive, according to Allegheny County police. Arriving emergency personnel received no response at the home, so a critical incident response team was requested and entered the residence about two hours later.

The father and adult son were found dead from single gunshot wounds, police said, adding detectives are investigating.

"Everyone involved in the incident has been identified and there is no danger to the public," police said in a Facebook post.
