Multiple People Wounded In Separate Pittsburgh Shootings

PITTSBURGH, PA — Five people were wounded in two separate shooting incidents in the city.
At 1:15 a.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to the 800 block of Mount Pleasant Road in Northview Heights for two separate ShotSpotter alerts totaling 20 rounds. Arriving officers found a woman with a gunshot wound to her hip, a man shot in the shoulder and another man shot in the ankle. They had been shot while standing on a porch.
The victims were taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

A shot time later, officers came across a vehicle collision nearby at East Street and East North Avenue. They found a man inside the vehicle with a gunshot wound to his back. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he underwent surgery and is in critical condition.
Just after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police were dispatched to the 2900 block of Banksville Road in Banksville for a reported shooting at a BP gas station. They found a 28-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to the knee. He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical but stable condition.
