Multiple Pittsburgh-Area Firefighters Suspended

PITTSBURGH, PA — Five people from a Western Pennsylvania volunteer fire company have been suspended after allegedly responding to a call while under the influence of alcohol.
The Undercliff Fire Company in Shaler has confirmed the incident is being thoroughly investigated to multiple media outlets.
The fire company released the following statement to KDKA-TV:

"We are aware of the allegations made against five members to a recent response to an emergency call. The allegations are under internal investigation.
"As a matter of procedure, all five members have been suspended pending outcome of the investigation.
