New Brewery Taproom To Open In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — The city's North Side is getting a new brewery taproom.

Golden Age Beer Co. which operates a Homestead brewpub, will be opening a location in the former Garden Theater building, now called the Garden. The news first was reported in the Pittsburgh Business Times.

It's unclear whether this is an expansion of Golden Age or if the Homestead location will close.

Golden Age opened in 2022 in the former Exix Company building. It's owned by Pete Kurzweg, who also operates the Independent Brewing Company, both located in Squirrel Hill.
