New Ethnic Eatery Opens In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA —The city now has its first Latino restaurant. Latino Spot Bar & Buffet opened Sunday in Oakland, according to the eatery's Facebook page.

The restaurant is located on Oakland Avenue near the heart of the University of Pittsburgh campus in the space most recently occupied by Stew Wood Fire Fusion. That restaurant last less than a year after replacing Fuel & Fuddle, which closed in May 2023 after a two-decade run.

peppers, mozzarella cheese and smoked paprika.

Adult beverage offerings include margaritas, of course.

"We are more than just a restaurant; we are a celebration of Latin culture and culinary traditions," Latino Spot's website states. "Our mission is to bring the vibrant flavors and rich heritage of Latin
America to our community, creating a place where nostalgia meets deliciousness."
