Numerous People Wounded, Others Injured In Pittsburgh Shooting Incident

PITTSBURGH, PA — Multiple people were wounded by gunshots or injured in a shooting late Sunday in the city's East Liberty section.
According to Pittsburgh Public Safety officials, just after 11:45 p.m. police were dispatched to North Saint Clair Street and Broad Street for two separate ShotSpotter alerts totaling 14 rounds. While officers were en route, numerous calls came in reporting multiple victims.
Pittsburgh EMS took three victims to area hospitals. One was listed in critical condition. A second was listed in serious condition but later was downgraded to critical. A third was listed in stable with a graze wound.

A short time later, two victims arrived by private vehicle at Children’s Hospital with gunshot wounds. Both were listed in stable condition.
Additionally, Pittsburgh EMS treated a number of individuals—approximately ten—with graze wounds or minor injuries from falls at the scene. They did not require medic transportation.

The Mobile Crime Unit was called to process evidence at the scene, including recovered shell casings and all available video footage.
