PA Man Brutally Killed, Set On Fire And Left By Road

A Pennsylvania man met an extremely violent death, authorities said.

CAMBRIA COUNTY, PA — A man was stabbed, strangled and his body was set on fire before being found along a road near the Cambria County-Westmoreland County line.

Barry Senior Jr., 54, of Adams Township, died from blood loss caused by multiple stab wounds, the Tribune-Democrat of Johnstown reported. His body was discovered when a passing motorist noticed the fire at around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday and called 911.

Senior's car was found abandoned in another county, authorities said at a news conference on Thursday.

Senior was last seen Tuesday night leaving his parents' residence after communicating with someone online, authorities said.

A person of interest is in police custody, but no charges have been filed as of Friday morning.
