Person Shot Near Pittsburgh-Area College; Shooting Prompts Lockdown
A SWAT team was on the scene of a Pittsburgh-area college on Monday.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Westmoreland County Community College was placed on lockdown Monday after a man was shot at a nearby apartment complex.
The shooting happened outside Valley Royal Court around 12:35 p.m., the Westmoreland County District Attorey's Office told WPXI-TV. It prompted the arrival of a SWAT team.
The condition of the victim was not immediately available. It's unclear if a suspect is in custody.
