Pittsburgh-Area Fire Claims Lives Of 2 Sisters
A fire in a Pittsburgh-area community has resulted in the loss of two family members. Get the details here.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Two sisters were killed in a fire that roared through a home in Arnold, Westmoreland County, on Wednesday.
Firefighters were called to the 1900 block of Kenneth Avenue in shortly before 8 p.m.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified one victim as Shakeeta Murphy, 39. Family friends told Triblive that the second victim was Latecia Murphy, Shakeeta's sister. Her age is unknown.

A third person was hospitalized because of the fire. Their condition is unknown.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
