Pittsburgh Area Getting New Cafe-Market-Bakery
An expanding Pittsburgh bakery and market chain soon will arrive in the Cranberry area. Patch provides the details here.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A cafe and market that started with modest beginnings in 2018 plans to open a fourth Pittsburgh-area location this November near Cranberry. Mediterra will be located in North Point Circle in Seven Fields.
Nick Ambeliotis opened the first Mediterra in Sewickley, envisioning a place that served quality coffee, pastries, breakfast and lunch; a place where patrons could locate hard to find charcuterie and more.
The bakery offers nearly two dozen types of bread, which you can purchase by the loaf or slices of the cafe's gourmet toast offerings. The breakfast menu includes ricotta cheese blintzes and chickpea pancakes; the lunch menu is full of salads and sandwiches.
