Pittsburgh-Area Man Killed In Heavy Equipment Accident
A Pittsburgh area man died Tuesday in an accident involving heavy equipment.
STOWE TOWNSHIP, PA — A man died Tuesday morning after a heavy equipment piece fell on him. The fatal accident occurred in the 2200 block of Robinson Boulevard at around 11:30 a.m.
Allegheny County police said first responders at the scene found a 52-year-old man dead. The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was struck by the bucket of an excavator as it tipped over.
The man's identity has not yet been disclosed.

Detectives determined there was no foul play and the investigation was turned over to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
