Pittsburgh-Area Professional Baseball Player Critically Injures Man: Police
A Pittsburgh-area professional baseball player is in custody after critically injuring a man, police said.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A Pittsburgh-area baseball player is facing aggravated assault charges after allegedly punching a man in a city nightclub last month.
Sebastian Rodriguez, 25, who plays for the Washington Wild Things, allegedly committed the assault at Cavo in the Strip District on Aug. 31.
According to a WTAE-TV report, the unidentified victim remains in critical condition and has had numerous brain surgeries for cerebral hemmorhaging. His injuries included a ruptured blood vessel, a skull base fracture and multiple temporal bone fractures.
