PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for the Scoreboard Lounge, on Route 8 in Richland, for numerous health code violations.
During an Oct. 6 inspection, old rodent droppings were found below a sink in the kitchen.
Numerous flies - too many to count - were found throughout the kitchen.

Multiple food items were found to be being stored at unsafe temperatures.
An accumulation of food debris was found on the potato punch on the wall. Debris also was found in the ice machine. The can opener blade was excessively soiled.

An excessive accumulation of grease was found on equipment throughout the kitchen. The inside of the microwave ovens were excessively soiled.
A restaurant with a consumer alert placard is allowed to operate for a temporary period not exceeding 10 days. Another inspection is conducted either prior to the expiration of the temporary period upon request of the eatery owner or on the tenth day.
