Pittsburgh-Area Teen Charged With Threatening School, Students
A teen made threats against a Pittsburgh-area junior high school and two students, police said.
LATROBE, PA — A 17-year-old teen has been charged with making social media threats against Greater Latrobe Junior High School and several students.
According to the Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office, the threats were posted in a Snapchat group message were directed toward two female teens, ages 15 and 16, and the junior high school.
Pennsylvania State Police charged the teen as a juvenile with terroristic threats. According to the district attorney's office, police believe there are no ongoing safety concerns for the school or its students.
