Pittsburgh-Area Teen Drowning Death: Latest Details

A Pittsburgh-area teen has died following his falling into a river.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A Pittsburgh-area teen died in a drowning incident that occurred over the weekend.

Colton Bureau, 14, drowned following a seizure after falling into the Kiski River at his favorite fishing spot at Roaring Run.

According to his obituary, the youth was starting his freshman year at Apollo-Ridge High School, and was looking forward to playing defense on the football team. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, biking, and
riding his side-by-side.

A GoFundMe page has been established to help the teen's family.

"During this time of grief, we want to come together as a brokerage and as a community to lift them up and help ease the financial burden of funeral expenses and related costs," Erin Moio, who established the page, said on it.
