Pittsburgh Area Under Threat Of Severe Storms, Isolated Tornadoes
The National Weather Service says be on the lookout for strong storms and possible tornadoes.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The passage of a warm front on Wednesday afternoon will bring the threat of severe storms to Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania.
Large hail will be the primary threat.
The National Weather Service says severe weather also will be possible late tonight along with an approaching cold front. Damaging wind is expected to be the primary overnight hazard, although hail and isolated tornadoes also are possible.

Additionally, periodic heavy rainfall could result in localized flood at times late tonight.
