Pittsburgh-Area Woman Dies After Being Struck By Delivery Truck

A Pittsburgh-area woman succumbed to her injuries after being hit by a truck.

INDIANA COUNTY, PA — A woman struck by a delivery truck in Indiana Borough earlier this month has died following an incident that also killed her husband.

Cambria County coroner Jeff Lees said Loretta Reeger, 68, died at Conemaugh Hospital, WJAC-TV reported.

The Indiana Borough Police Department said that a delivery truck for APG was making a left turn from North 9th Street into the 800 block of Philadelphia Street on March 11 when the truck hit Loretta Reeger and her husband, John Reeger, in the crosswalk. John Reeger was flown to Conemaugh Hospital, where he died a short time later.

Indiana Borough police and Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the incident. It's unknown if charges will be filed.
