Pittsburgh-Area Woman Dies In Bicycle Crash

PITTSBURGH, PA — A woman died Wednesday after a vehicle struck the bicycle she was riding in McKeesport.

Allegheny County police said 911 was notified at 3:22 p.m. of the incident in the 600 block of Eden Park Boulevard. First responders found the woman dead at the scene.

Preliminary information shows the bicyclist was riding erratically off the side of the road, lost control and struck the side of a SUV traveling westbound. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
