Pittsburgh-Area Woman Shot To Death; Suspect Arrested On Birthday
Allegheny County police say a man killed a Pittsburgh-area woman on Wednesday, which was his 19th birthday.
MONROEVILLE, PA — A man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting death of a woman who was reported missing two hours before her body was found.
At 3:16 p.m., Monroeville police were called to the Cambridge Square Apartments, where they found the victim dead from gunshot wounds. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office later identified her as Joselyn Thomas.
Thomas had been reported missing to North Versailles police shortly before 1:30 p.m. Allegheny County and North Versailles police were actively searching for her when he body was found.

After investigating the incident, county police arrested Albert Williams III of Wilkinsburg. Court records show that Wednesday was Williams' 19th birthday.
Williams was charged with criminal homicide, carrying a firearm without a license and tampering with-fabricating physical evidence.

Williams is being housed in the county jail. He faces an Aug. 23 preliminary hearing.
