PITTSBURGH, PA — It's possible you are reading this with while drinking a hot cup of coffee somewhere in the city. If so, take pride in the fact that Pittsburgh has been rated one of the nation's finest places to be if you want some java.
Financial analytics website WalletHub released its “Best Coffee Cities in America” list for 2024 this week, and Pittsburgh came in 13th place. It was the only Pennsylvania city to finish in the top 25.
The rankings were determined after WalletHub researchers considered 12 key metrics on which the nation's 100 most populated cities should be graded. The included average price per pack of coffee; coffee shops, coffee houses and cafes per capita; and share of households that own coffee makers.
