Pittsburgh Grocery Providing Oppportunity To Win Thousands

PITTSBURGH, PA — It's called theCareFREE Summer Sweepstakes and it offers an opportunity to win thousands of dollars worth of groceries.

During June, Giant Eagle myPerks loyalty customers have the opportunity to enter for a chance to be one of three winners when they make a qualifying purchase of $10 or more and scan their loyalty card.

Each of the three winners will receive $10,000 in gift cards that can be spent on grocery items at any participating Giant Eagle or Market District location.

Ten runners-up will receive $500 in perks loaded to their loyalty card.

To enter, customers simply scan their myPerks loyalty card when checking out at the register. For every transaction of $10 or more in qualifying grocery spending, customers will earn one entry into the sweepstakes.

Fuel, tobacco, cigarettes, gift cards, prescriptions or prescription co-pays do not qualify as eligible purchases. There is a limit of one unique transaction entry per day, and a limit of one prize per person, loyalty card.

The sweepstakes runs through June 30.
