Each year, more than 15,000 children in Pennsylvania alone are served by the foster care system, many of whom are placed in homes with little more than a few items in a plastic bag. The Foster Love Project provides bags to children at the time of placement to reassure them that they and their belongings are not disposable. Guests who donate a new bag will receive a $20 Shorty’s gift card.
