Pittsburgh To Host Oscar Mayer Wienermobile

PITTSBURGH, PA — The famed Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is coming to town, making two stops in the Pittsburgh area this week.
The 27-foot long hot dog on wheels will appear at Thursday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Children's Museum on the North Side. On Saturdayand Sunday, it's off to Latrobe from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for the Shop 'n Save Westmoreland Air Show.
Mayer, the Wienermobile is driven by folks known as "hotdoggers" who hand out souvenirs to fans. There are six Wienermobiles traveling across the country at all times.

The Wienermobiles are sophisticated vehicles, sporting V8 engines, 52-inch flat-screen TVs, removable "bun roofs" and hot dog-shaped dashboards.
