Pittsburgh Man Arrested After His Infant Son Found Severely Beaten

The father of a 4-month-old boy is accused of beating the infant.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A father faces criminal charges after police on Tuesday were summoned to a apartment building where his 4-month-old child was found gravely injured and unresponsive.

The child was transferred to Children's Hospital in critical condition with multiple severe injuries.

Police obtained a search warrant for the building, found the child's father hiding in the basement and arrested him.

Seth Williams, 28, of Pittsburgh is charged with five felony counts of aggravated assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of children. He is being housed in the Allegheny County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety officials
