Pittsburgh Man Attacked Woman With Machete: Police

PITTSBURGH, PA — Authorities are actively searching for a man who allegedly attacked a woman with a machete.

Bryant Garrett, 62, is facing charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery and terroristic threats.

The alleged attack occurred in April on Webster Avenue. According to WTAE-TV, Garrett allegedly hit the female victim numerous times in the head and arm with the flat end of a rusty machete after accusing her of robbing him.

His whereabouts currently are unknown.
