Pittsburgh Man Dead After Being Shot, Run Over By Vehicle

PITTSBURGH, PA — Police are investigating the death of a man in the city's Lincoln-Lemington section Sunday night.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the 6900 block of Wiltsie Street after witnesses reported possible gunfire in the area. Officers found there a man lying in the street with gunshot wounds to the chest and leg.
Witnesses report that the man was subsequently struck by a vehicle. Officers provided first aid but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the official cause of death.
The victim's name has yet to be released.
