Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival To Return After Absence
After an extended absence, the Pittsburgh Perogi Festival will occur again in 2025.

PITTSBURGH, PA — After a two-year hiatus, The Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival, presented by Peoples, returns next year with a new but familiar home.
The festival will occur May 17 at SouthSide Works, the site of the first one in 2013. Presented by People's, the event will feature more than two dozen pierogi vendors– including some out-of-state pierogi-makers– vying for the Peoples Choice Award.
This year’s Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival, presented by Peoples, will feature more than 100 pierogi
and pierogi-inspired dishes from a variety of vendors. The festival will have over two dozen

Attendees also can expect an expanded pop-up pierogi marketplace; live activities and contests; live music and guest appearances by some Pittsburgh-famous characters.
