PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for Mintt Indian Cuisine on Banksville Road in Banksville for numerous health code violations.

An inspection on Monday revealed old rodent droppings inside one of the buffet tables. In the walk-in cooler, a container of raw lamb was observed stored behind a loosely covered bowl; blood was observed to have dripped onto the plastic wrap covering the bowl.

Food in walk-in cooler was found to be stored at an unsafely high temperature. Soiled knives were observed in a clean knife holder at the prep table in the kitchen. Soiled wiping towels were being stored on cutting boards on the cook line instead of a sanitary bucket.
